Brent Skipper is a native of Dothan, Alaama and has been actively involved in real estate development since 2003 when he was on the founding development team of Alys Beach, FL. In 2006 he was the first acquisitions hire for the largest multifamily builder in Utah (Trophy Homes) to help them vertically integrate land development and entitlements into their business model.
He went on to build urban infill projects and other multifamily ventures from Utah to Texas as CFO for Metaview Development.
Brent started Sky Development in 2010 after the great recession. Using private capital he acquired distressed assets from banks and other lenders to subsequently add value, then divest in the near and medium term. Sky Development has remained focused in the design, entitlement, and execution of efficient land plans that are sold to vertical builders for completion. Brent also serves as the VP of Investments for the Sundance Bay debt fund.
